Here are screenshots from the first theatrical trailer of Hrithik Roshan-Barbara Mori starrer Kites. The co-stars are seen in fleeting shots engaging in a liplock (in one scene) and a kiss to Duggu's torso (delivered by Mori).Kites is directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan. The film stars Hrithik Roshan, Mexican actress Barbara Mori and Kangana Ranaut. Set in Las Vegas, it is said to be a romantic thriller that revolves around a Salsa dance teacher, played by Hrithik.
Kites was shot simultaneously for both Hindi and English versions.
According to sources, "It is a mega project for the Roshans, which will also mark Hrithik's entry into the international market so they are being extremely sure of everything."
Kites was initially slated to release during Diwali 2009. Later there was buzz that it would be December 09, then January 2010.
"But the fact is that the Roshans don't mind waiting so that the international release coincides with the Hindi release. They are planning a lavish release all over the globe," maintains the source.
